Bematech Expands Internationally, Posts 35% Growth in 2013

Industry Insight, Press Releases - December 17, 2013

Bematech, a leading provider of kitchen display systems, has expanded 35 percent worldwide in the last 12 months and the company’s North American presence is poised to grow rapidly with the introduction of state-of-the art technology solutions, stronger customer relationships and a 27 percent growth in its reseller network.

“The Bematech brand is synonymous with high quality restaurant and retail POS products that are unrivaled by the competition at the price points we offer,” said Wladimir Alvarez, President of the International Division of Bematech. “Our reputation as a provider of reliable, cost-effective solutions has helped us expand in North America, where we have won several high-profile deals in the last year.”

After Bematech’s acquisition of Logic Controls in 2009, the Long Island office became Bematech’s North American hub and international headquarters. Now fully integrated into the Bematech brand, the former Logic Controls operation handles all of the company’s international business in Latin America, Europe and Asia and is leading the effort to expand in the US, Mexico and Canada. Bematech Front

In North America, Bematech reports growth of 27 percent over the last 12 months. The company’s hardware can be found in some of the  largest restaurant chains  in the US and independent businesses as well. In the last year alone, Bematech’s products were installed in Rubio’s Restaurants, Chilibeans, Six Flags Great Adventure and more.

“We have ramped up our product line with several new products featuring state-of-the art designs, all of which have been well-received by our client base and helped facilitate our growth in North America, especially in the US,” said Alvarez. “Over the last 12 months, our reseller network expanded 27 percent and we look forward to even more impressive growth in the near future.”

In the last year, the company has introduced innovative products that have been certified by several POS companies and applications, including the LV4000, an 8.4” LCD display that has been certified by GiftLogic, pcAmerica and CornerStore.  For additional flexibility, Bematech released an OPOS utility so the display can be used with any application.  Since there is no software integration required,  the LV4000 can be integrated with virtually any POS system, making it an attractive choice for any business using POS terminals.

The company also unveiled its popular SB9011D and SB9015F, dual core all-in one touch screen systems that have been certified by MicroSale, RetailEdge, Positouch, Academy Bus Ticket Vending application and Future POS.

“Our customers are our top priority, so we have also invested heavily in these relationships and our reseller network to strengthen and expand our company’s reach,” said Alvarez. “Our managers and executives are traveling to meet regional managers and key resellers more often and we’ve introduced several new educational tools to our clients, so they can empower themselves with the best technology and products available.”

The company has unveiled several new strategies to attract and retain customers, including a new social media initiative and improved web site and newsletters to keep clients informed. The company is also putting in more face time with its clients and attending more ISV partner trade shows.
